# Edit TP/SL

You can edit your TP/SL order. 

TP/SL are very useful for avoiding liquidations or securing profits while you’re away from the charts!

* Use keyboard shortcuts to set up your orders and express them as a percentage of the market price.
* When editing a long position, your SL order cannot be set at a price lower than your estimated liquidation price. Similarly, when editing a short position, it cannot be set at a price higher than your estimated liquidation price.

TP/SL orders also have a slippage tolerance you can set:

* For a long position, your TP may be executed up to x% above the price you set, and your SL up to x% below it.
* For a short position, your TP may be executed up to x% below the price you set, and your SL up to x% above it.

In the example below, we're adding a TP and a SL to a short BTC position:
