# Exit an ongoing bet

You can exit any position at the current market price, at any time, without waiting for the event to settle.

Steps:

1. Tap your open position.
2. Tap Sell.
3. Choose max sell, or set the amount for a partial exit.
4. Confirm. 

Proceeds settle in your Predict cash balance immediately.

Partial sells let you take profits while keeping exposure to the market. A common strategy is to sell enough to recover your initial investment, then let the rest ride.
